Many options for federal, state, and institutional financial aid are tied to the FAFSA. Increase your options for financial aid by filling out the FAFSA as soon as you can!

The biggest mistake you can make with the FAFSA form? Not filling it out at all.

Don't lose out on money for school! Complete your FAFSA form on October 1.

The 2020/2021 FAFSA (Apply at: https://studentaid.ed.gov/sa/fafsa) and the UA Foundation Scholarship Application (Apply at: https://alaska.academicworks.com/) are now available! Complete both applications to be considered for the maximum amount of financial aid in the 2020/2021 academic year. The deadline to apply for a UA Foundation Scholarship is February 15, 2020.

On July 9, 2019, the Alaska Commission on Postsecondary Education (ACPE) announced that state funding for Alaska Education Grant (AEG) and Alaska Performance Scholarship (APS) need additional legislation to make funds available for the 2019/2020 academic year. If you have been awarded or plan to apply for this funding for Fall 2019, please see the FAQ for more information.

If you see a green check mark next to the General Application (see photo), you have successfully submitted your application.
