We recently wrapped up a 𝟏𝟕,𝟎𝟎𝟎 𝐬𝐪. 𝐟𝐭. 𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐱𝐲 𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 for the Aviation Institute of Maintenance in Manassas, VA—and the results speak for themselves.

This floor was in rough shape when we started. The existing coating had completely failed, so we took it all the way back to a solid foundation before rebuilding it the right way.

🔧 Our Process:
✔️ Removed failing coatings using PCD diamond grinding
✔️ Performed a second pass with a diamond grinder for proper surface prep
✔️ Applied Sikafloor 161 primer for maximum adhesion
✔️ Installed a pigmented Sikafloor 264 base coat
✔️ Finished with Sikafloor 340 topcoat + aluminum oxide for durability and slip resistance
✔️ Completed precision line striping with Sherwin-Williams Macropoxy 646

The end result is a clean, high-performance, slip-resistant floor system designed to handle heavy use in an aviation training environment—while also improving safety and organization with clearly defined walkways.
