This is what work often looks like these days. This boy is fighting sleep like a champ and I’m tired 😴 😂 He’s all smiles today though so that eases my frustration that my day is a little slower than I was hoping. What’s your favorite tips for teething and fighting sleep?

This is a BIG DEAL. This is the first piece of furniture I’ve sprayed since we left Noah Dr. Y’all know closing the store and moving into Jasper Ga. Antiques & Things , building this new workshop at home has been quite the feat. I was so naïve at how long it would take me to be up and running the way I envisioned. I’m still no where near close to where I want to be, but for today, spraying this piece feels like a WIN. I’ve had so many struggles these last 18 months that I will stop and appreciate the wins. No matter how small they may seem to most people.

It’s been quite a week around here. Today, we did a major reset at Cotton Mill Exchange. I’m so tired but so thankful for all that we have accomplished this week so far. Sometimes it seems like no matter how hard I try, getting things done is like plowing concrete so it’s been refreshing to visibly see the productivity. The baby hasn’t napped ALL DAY LONG though, so I’m paying for it now. 😫 Wish me luck getting him settled down. Which piece of furniture is your favorite??

I found a great use for all my extra storage bags 😂😂 That will keep my brush until the next coat. How often do you wash out your brushes?
