Attention to detail matters!
Marine & RV Technology student Peter Harris put his electrical knowledge on full display with this detailed system schematic. From power distribution to lighting and accessories, every connection had to be planned, mapped, and understood.
Great work, Peter!
OUT OF THE WASTELANDS... THEY CAME.
Fueled by determination, questionable engineering decisions, and just enough battery power to be dangerous...
The students in Mr. Jenkins' electrical class are preparing for ROBOT WARS... sorta.
Tiny machines, with 1,200mAh of pure destruction!
Soon these custom-built combat vehicles will battle for glory, bragging rights, and absolute classroom legend status.
The arena is ready.
The drivers are talking trash.
The countdown has begun.

Advanced Aluminum Welding with a Push-Pull MIG System
In this video, Mr. Waters demonstrates a push-pull MIG welding system while welding aluminum. Unlike a traditional spool gun, a push-pull setup uses both the wire feeder and the gun to move the wire smoothly through the system, providing more consistent feeding, better control, and increased productivity.
Push-pull systems are widely used in professional fabrication environments where weld quality and efficiency are critical. By training with advanced equipment and techniques, J-Tech students gain valuable exposure to the tools they may encounter in the field.
From foundational skills to industry-standard technology, Mr. Waters' class is helping students build the knowledge and experience needed for successful careers in welding and fabrication.
Learning the Fundamentals - Playing With Fire!
Students in Mr. Estrada's Fundamentals class are gaining hands-on experience with propane torches as they develop the skills needed for success in the skilled trades. From proper torch handling and safety procedures to heat control and technique, these exercises help build the confidence and foundational knowledge employers are looking for.
With students demonstrating their skills, today's training showcased the importance of practice, precision, and safety in a real-world shop environment.
