There is a great complexity to life. On a day like today, there is both joy and grief, gratitude and longing. For all who have borne the burden and joy of motherhood, in all its different forms...for all who are hopeful in the difficulty of longing for motherhood...for all who have grieved the loss of a child who's left us too soon...we honor you today. We also grieve with those of you who have lost your sweet mother. Life is complex, and yet this is still an incredibly beautiful day. After all, we wouldn't be here without our mothers. Happy Mother's Day!

For Resurrection Sunday to be celebrated, we must first pause to honor the Payment, Christ Crucified! On this Good Friday, please join us tonight as we reflect upon the cross of Jesus Christ. "Let us fix our eyes upon Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, Who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame..." -Hebrews 12:2
