Jackson Fire Department

A special thank you to our dedicated members of the Jackson Fire Department for taking time today to share knowledge and wisdom while mentoring our Forest Hill High School Fire Squad seniors.

Your willingness to invest in the next generation and introduce our students to the opportunities within the fire service makes a lasting impact. We appreciate you for sharing your experience, answering questions, and inspiring our future leaders!

We also extend a heartfelt thank you to Savour Downtown for generously providing lunch for our seniors. Your support helped make today’s experience even more special.

Our firefighters love engaging with our City of Jackson community, sharing fire safety knowledge, and building stronger partnerships.

From daycares, schools, businesses, and community events to hands-on demonstrations, we remain committed to educating, protecting, and serving our community! ❤️

Fire Chief RaSean O. Thomas met with Deputy Fire Chief Charles Felton Jr. and the Office of Fire Investigations Team (Investigator Anthony Byrd, Investigator Dwight Jones, Investigator Rictavious Haymon) to discuss the direction of the Jackson Fire Department and ensure everyone understands the vision, expectations, and priorities moving forward.

These conversations are important as we continue to strengthen communication, accountability, and teamwork throughout our department. Every division plays a vital role in serving our community, and we are committed to making sure our members are informed, aligned, and prepared for what’s ahead.

One Beat. One Drum. One Sound. Always Ready! 🔥

I want to take a moment to thank the men and women of the Jackson Fire Department for your continued service, sacrifice, and commitment to our community.

This week, you answered calls, trained, engaged in public relations events, participated in National Night Out, and joined our community for fellowship. Each of these efforts reflects what it means to serve beyond the emergency call.

To our firefighters and support personnel, thank you for always being ready and willing to serve. Your dedication does not go unnoticed, and we truly appreciate all that you do for the citizens of Jackson.

To our community, thank you for continuing to welcome us, support us, and partner with us. We are grateful for every opportunity to serve and connect with you.

Have a safe and blessed weekend. Enjoy your weekend, and we’ll see you Monday!

One Beat! One Drum! One Sound! Always Ready!🔥
