On the Job | Mandi Herzberg, Drushal Fabricating

I’ve always loved art, music, and creating. I was the alternative kid who hated math and wasn’t a fan of computers, so manufacturing wasn’t an obvious career path for me.

That changed when I met Jackson metal artist Steven Sayles and was introduced to the art project and community he was building. I discovered metal art and design and fell in love. I quickly learned there was much more to it than simply welding pieces of metal together.

Congratulations to Alicia Swisher on being named a 2026 Health Care Angel!

Swisher has served others in medical social work and behavioral health, both within the community and at a Michigan Department of Corrections Level 5 prison. These opportunities ultimately led her to create a private practice, Swisher’s Bizzy Caring, PLLC. She also serves as an inpatient therapist at Henry Ford Behavioral Health–Washington Way. Through each opportunity, Swisher is committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based, and person-centered care every day.

Congratulations to Jennifer Rose on being named a 2026 Health Care Angel!

Jennifer Rose, a physician assistant at Henry Ford Diagnostic Center - Townsend, is known for truly listening to her patients and deeply investigating their medical issues in order to deliver excellent, life-improving care.

It is a very common experience for patients to feel brushed off or dismissed by their medical professionals, but Rose’s patients and colleagues gushed about her attentiveness and intentionality. One of Rose’s nominators wrote, “she has a deep passion for helping patients find answers for their ailments and never gives up in trying to help make her patients feel better or live their healthiest lives.” Another said that she is “great at thinking outside of the box. She has found several diagnoses after listening to her patients and researching for them when they thought no one else would or could.”

Congratulations to Danielle Rimert on being named a 2026 Health Care Angel!

Jackson County native Danielle Rimert uses the science of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to develop goal-oriented individualized treatment plans for children diagnosed with autism. As a certified behavior analyst at The Growing Tree - Jackson, MI, she collaborates with parents or caregivers to determine how the pediatric clinic might help their child learn new behaviors to enhance the quality of their lives. She then oversees behavior technicians who implement the personalized plans.
