Both VIP and General Admission tickets have covered seating so don’t let the rain stop you from having a great time! VIP tickets include a delicious catered dinner and floor level seating that gets you right up close to the bull riders and bucking bulls. If there’s one bull that loves his job, it’s 328 Church.
Church is a 3 year old bucking bull owned by 3H Cattle Company
He is registered with the American Bucking Bull Association.
Church enjoys drives to and from rodeos, and nice green alfalfa hay.
BUT, there is nothing he loves more than the rodeo atmosphere (music and the cheering crowd) and grain with some molasses (a lil’ sweet treat).

Congratulations to the 2026 Snake River Showdown Champion Bull Rider, Kyson Gourdin. He put up a monster 89 point ride aboard 2213 Ugly Stick of Dalton Rudman ‘s. The buckle was presented by Skidmore Construction, East Idaho’s premier builder for both residential and commercial properties.
Kyson is now in the lead for the 2026 born American Bucking Bull Inc. registered heifer that is going to the average champion of the Snake River Showdown and Thunder in the Tetons bull riding events.

We’ve been getting some questions about Thunder in the Tetons bull riding so let’s answer some!
• Is it just one weekend?
Yes, Thunder in the Tetons is a one weekend bull riding event which will be September 18 and 19th of this year in Jackson Hole, WY.
• What time does it start?
Gates open at 5:30pm on Friday, show starts at 7pm. Gates open at 4:30pm on Saturday and show starts at 6pm.
• Is it family friendly?
Yes, very much so! It’s great for families, date night, etc! Kids 5 and under get in free!
• Is it a rodeo, or if not, how is it different?
We call it a bull riding rather than a rodeo because rodeo encompasses multiple events and we just buck bulls. Bull riding is the most popular, high adrenaline rodeo event and Thunder in the Tetons brings that action all night long!
• Do we need to get tickets in advance?
We highly recommend getting tickets online in advance because they are first come first serve at the gate.
