JPS Northeast Elementary

Homecoming Spirit Week started today with Pajama Day!

Hispanic Heritage Spotlight: Roberto Clemente ⚾

Today we’re highlighting Roberto Clemente, a legendary baseball player whose impact reached far beyond the field.

Born in Puerto Rico, Clemente became one of Major League Baseball’s greatest players and was the first Latin American player inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame.

He was known not only for his incredible talent, but also for his commitment to helping others. Clemente regularly supported humanitarian efforts and used his platform to serve communities in need.

His legacy continues to inspire generations through excellence, compassion, leadership, and service.

🧡 During Hispanic Heritage Month, we celebrate people like Roberto Clemente who made a lasting difference both in their profession and in the lives of others.

Our theme is “Unstoppable Heroes and Their Resilience,” and who better represents that than our students and families? Parents, YOU are our heroes, too! ❤️
We will meet behind Walmart on Friday, October 9th, at 5:15 PM. We would LOVE to see our Northeast families come out, show their Viking pride, and help us make this a great experience for our students!
