Business owners, it’s almost time to renew! 📬

Business License renewal notices will be going out in the mail October 1st and 2nd. Current 2026 Business Licenses expire on December 31, 2026, and businesses will need to renew for the 2027 calendar year between October 1st and December 31st.

Once your renewal notice arrives, be sure to take care of your renewal before the end-of-year deadline.

We spent lunchtime today celebrating our employees with our Employee Appreciation Cookout! 🏈 Departments brought a little tailgate spirit with their setups, and everyone got a chance to eat, hang out, and catch up with coworkers from across the County.

We’re excited to shine a light on Jesse Phillips from our Public Works team! 🥳

Jesse currently serves as an Equipment Operator I on the grass-cutting crew, helping mow and maintain County rights-of-way. After transitioning from his previous role as a Mechanic, Jesse quickly took on the challenge of learning something new and has continued to grow in his role.

Jesse takes pride in doing the job correctly and safely, keeping his equipment well-maintained and always being ready for the next task. He’s also taken what he’s learned and used it to help newer employees become more comfortable operating and caring for their equipment.
