Still smiling after four hours of judging some incredibly creative art entries by talented K-12 students in the Mississippi Secretary of State’s Promote the Vote 2026 art contest last week! (and bonus: I got to visit with my dear friend Vickie Shows Burkes)

We’re mailing 32 Valentine’s Day postcards today to NPS and USFS. Thanks to my friend, Elli Morris, whose brilliant idea this was, and who created the cards and address lists. Reach out to either of us if you would like the docs to mail your own! Let’s show our public lands park rangers and staff some ❤️🩷💛🧡💙
