With the last race of the season coming up on Sunday, here is a quick review of what we have regarding points battles.

🏁 JACKSON RC RACING — SUNDAYS OF SUMMER 2026
THE FINAL RACE IS THIS SUNDAY
It all comes down to this.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Four races down. One to go. And with two drops applied after the final race, nothing is truly settled until the last car crosses the line. Here is what is at stake this Sunday at Jackson RC Raceway.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
🏆 ALREADY CROWNED — BARRING A MIRACLE
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Some titles are already wrapped up regardless of what happens Sunday. Congratulations to:

🥇 Anthony Masi — Tamiya M Chassis Champion. Dominant all season with multiple wins. Nobody can catch him.

🥇 Brian Cianfrone — Tamiya Pro Spec Champion AND Tamiya Euro Truck Champion. A remarkable double championship. Three consecutive Euro Truck wins this season. Brian has been the most complete performer of the 2026 Summer Series.

🥇 Al Sodano — FWD Champion. Three wins from three starts. A perfect season in the class. Welcome back, Al.

🥇 Scooby Horton — VTA Champion AND 25.5 LMH Champion. Four wins in both classes. Two perfect seasons running simultaneously. Scooby has been the most dominant driver at Jackson RC Raceway this summer — full stop.

Those titles are decided. The rest? That's what Sunday is for.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
🔥 THE BATTLES THAT WILL BE DECIDED THIS SUNDAY
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

⚔️ GT SPEC NOVICE — THREE-WAY CHAMPIONSHIP FIGHT
Langston Knight (295) · Brian Delpino (201) · Pedro Moreira (200)

This one is wide open. Langston Knight leads but is NOT safe — if Delpino wins the Novice main on Sunday his best three scores add up to 302, which beats Langston's maximum of 300. Pedro Moreira wins and finishes at 301 — also above Langston's ceiling. Langston NEEDS to win the main to guarantee the title. If he wins, he's champion. If he doesn't, either Delpino or Moreira could steal it. The Novice main on Sunday has full championship stakes. What a story for these three.

⚔️ 25.5 FORMULA 1 — THE 2-POINT WAR
Felix Varela (299) · Tyson Knight (297)

Two points. That is all that separates first and second in the most competitive class of the season heading into the final race. Felix Varela leads — but Tyson Knight can win this title. Here is how it plays out:

✅ Felix wins the title if: he finishes P2 or better — almost certainly enough to hold off Tyson
⚔️ Tyson wins the title if: he wins the main AND Felix finishes outside the top few positions

The Formula 1 main on Sunday is going to be unmissable. Four races of tight racing all season comes down to this. Two of Jackson's best drivers, two points apart, final race.

⚔️ TAMIYA GT2 — DEAD HEAT. WINNER TAKES ALL.
Al Sodano (301) · Jones Kim (301)

As equal as it gets. Two of the most talented drivers at Jackson RC Raceway. Both at 301 points. Both with two main event wins this season. Both with identical maximums. There is no mathematical scenario where one of them is safe before the race starts.

Whoever finishes higher in the GT2 A-Main on Sunday wins the 2026 Sundays of Summer GT2 Championship. If they finish equal — tiebreaker goes to wins. They're tied there too. It could go all the way to TQ count.

This is THE race of the final day. Al Sodano vs Jones Kim. Winner takes the GT2 title. One race. Everything on the line.

🤩 Don't blink.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
📊 SECONDARY BATTLES ALSO ON THE LINE SUNDAY
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Even in classes where the winner is decided, second and third place are still up for grabs:

VTA 2nd place: Gene White (292) vs Tyson Knight (290) vs Eric Polanco (289) — just 3 points cover the three of them. Anyone can finish second in the class.

LMH 2nd place: Jones Kim (297) vs Andrew Bezman (295) — Bezman can steal second with a win if Jones doesn't score 100+.

FWD 2nd place: Jonathan Samanka (295) vs Jones Kim (293) — tight going into the final race.

Pro Spec 2nd place: Jeff Yatsko (290) vs Mike Rupp (281) — Yatsko has it in hand but Rupp can close with a strong day.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

This has been a tremendous 2026 Sundays of Summer season at Jackson RC Raceway. The field has grown every race, the racing has been competitive from Novice to LMH, and Sunday is going to be a fitting finale.

To every driver who has raced this season — thank you. To the crew, the race callers, the hobby shop support, the guest announcers, and everyone who has made this program what it is — thank you.

What a race! Majority of teams all within striking distance of another. Most teams within 20 laps of each other running down the final sheet. Close racing and a lot of switching places on pitting and gremlins all day! What more can you ask for on an Endurance race. Team Back Breaker winning the concours as decide by fellow competitors. Team ACME with the first completed build to TQ it all. Team RedRum making it a 3 peat after winning 2024 and 2025 editions. Who will knock them off in 2027 as the team to beat! Team JC put on a great Ironman showing with Joe Coughlan getting over 1000 laps out there with some random help from the guys. Can't wait to host it again next year!

Final Results for the 2026 Petit Du Jackson 8 Hour Enduro. Pictures to come!

10 minutes to go bringin em home!

Final Hour!
