Just like the treasure box of notes and cards the dedicated teacher keeps tucked away for days when she needs a reminder of her purpose, photographs remind us of golds and scarlets on gray days. This must be one of the happiest jobs on Earth.

It was raining cats and dogs about an hour before Ashley's session, but we crossed our fingers and met anyway for (luckily!) the most perfect evening. It was incredibly difficult to choose just one picture to post for Ashley's preview -- she is so photogenic and incredibly sweet, too!

I've looked forward to taking Jeremy's senior pictures for years after meeting him on both occasions of his older siblings' senior shoots. His funny personality and his awesome hair(!) made for a terrific session.

It was so much fun to see this group again after Katie's wedding years ago. They're the kind of people you wish lived next door so you could bask in the sunshine they exude all the time.
