Faith Meeting Needs in Our Community
06/04/2026
đâď¸ Join us this summer for a unique series of Joint Book Studies hosted by Stewpot, Shower Power, and Grace Place!
Together, weâll explore how our faith shapes our practices of hospitality and compassion. Each month, weâll gather at a different ministry location for discussion, fellowship, and a brief tour of the host organizationâs work in our community.
Led by Rev. Lori Till of Galloway UMC, these conversations offer an opportunity to learn, connect, and grow alongside others who are passionate about faith in action.
đ˝ď¸ Light lunch available for $10.
đ Itâs a âmoveable feastâ â a new location each month!

This is what fellowship looks like: come as you are. Sitting together. Creating together. Laughing in the moment.
At HeARTWorks, art becomes more than expressionâit becomes connection. A space where people come as they are and are welcomed fully.
No expectations. Just presence, creativity, and community. đ

This is what presence looks like: here & attentive.
In our After-School Program, volunteers donât just help with homeworkâthey create space for kids and teens to feel seen, heard, and supported.
Because sometimes, the most important thing you can give is your full attention. đ

This is what care looks like: details noticed.
A fresh haircut. A listening ear. Taking the time to see someone fully. Our volunteers understand that care goes beyond basic needsâitâs found in the small moments that restore dignity and remind someone they matter.
Because sometimes, the smallest details make the biggest difference. đ

This is what service looks like. Sleeves rolled up and ready.
In the Community Kitchen, our volunteers step in wherever theyâre neededâchopping, stirring, serving, cleaningâdoing the work that keeps meals going out day after day. Itâs not always easy. Itâs not always seen. But it always matters. đ

đ Volunteer Appreciation Month 2026 đ
This is what commitment looks like.
It looks like early mornings and full hands.
It looks like stocking shelves, unloading cars, and making space for whatâs needed next.
It looks like volunteers who show upâagain and againâso our neighbors can count on whatâs here.
Day after day, our volunteers make that possible. Happy Volunteer Appreciation Month! đŤś
