Hi, I’m Cory.

For the last 15 years, I’ve had the privilege of being a hairstylist. My journey hasn’t been the most traditional, I’ve worked in three different states and have had to build and rebuild my clientele multiple times. Each salon and client has taught me something valuable, and I’m so grateful it’s led me here!

As someone with curly hair, I was naturally drawn to the beauty of curls. But about five years into my career, I had a realization: if I was truly going to call myself a hairstylist, I needed to learn how to care for everyone’s natural hair, not just the hair I knew best. That commitment set me on a path of continuing education, curiosity, and growth, learning to work with the straightest strands to the tightest coils.

That journey eventually became KIN & CURL.

My hope is that KIN & CURL becomes a place where expertise and connection exist together. A place where all hair types are understood, celebrated, and cared for well, and everyone is treated like FAM.
