Pinelake's Chapel is almost ready! The CCD team was excited to tour the beautiful new space today.

Meet Drew Peeples, a Madison, Mississippi native and graduate of Madison Central High School currently pursuing his Bachelor of Architecture degree at Mississippi State University, expected in 2028. Drew’s passion for architecture began at a young age through building with Legos and creating anything he could design and construct.

Looking ahead, he plans to continue his education in sustainable bioproducts with a focus on wood design, with the goal of incorporating wood detailing into projects where it is not traditionally used.

Outside of school, Drew enjoys spending time in Hattiesburg with his girlfriend, playing golf with his dad and uncle, and relaxing with video games.

Congratulations to Belhaven Softball on an outstanding season and for earning the opportunity to host both a Regional and Super Regional this year! Hosting postseason play is a tremendous accomplishment and a testament to the hard work of the student-athletes, coaches, and supporters who make the program so successful.

Bob’s influence is personal and lasting. Those who knew him remember not just his talent, but his generosity, steady leadership, and the care he brought to his work and to people. His example continues to shape how we live and how we design, collaborate, and serve our community.

Meet Elle Mason , a recent graduate of Mississippi State University, she earned her Bachelor’s in Architecture in 2025 and has been drawn to the field through her passion for art, math, and puzzles.
Originally from Cobden, Illinois—a small farm town known for having more apple trees than people—Elle carries a strong appreciation for nature and community into her work. She is especially passionate about sustainable design and hopes to make a lasting impact by helping create a greener, cleaner world through architecture.
Outside of her professional interests, Elle enjoys spending time with her fiancée, Jared, and her younger sister, Lilli. She’s also an avid reader, currently loving Wild Dark Shores by Charlotte McConaghy, and a devoted dog owner to Theo, Penelope, and Starry Night.
