Today, our family and team are attending the funeral of James “Jimmy” Joseph Foley, Ashley’s beloved grandpa. Jim proudly served our country in the United States Army and lived a life full of faith, family, laughter, and love. He was known for his quick wit, kind heart, and unwavering pride in his Irish roots. Most of all, he was a devoted husband, father, grandpa, and great-grandpa who never missed a chance to tell his family how much he loved them. Due to the funeral, some of our customers may experience a short delay in service for Wednesday, October 15. Our office will be closed for the day. If there’s anything you need, please send an email and we will be trying to check that regularly. We appreciate your understanding as we take this time to honor a wonderful man and support our family. Rest peacefully, Jim. Thank you for your service and for the example you left behind.

Extra, extra, the follower-favorite trash can wind-o-meter is back! The meter will be working hard, especially on Friday as wind gusts of 40-50 mph are likely statewide, primarily in the Lower Peninsula. These winds may carry your trash cans through Mary's yard and down the road a ways!

Use this as your sign to get those lighter outdoor objects packed away before Friday. We may also see some gusts of 20-30 mph on Thursday. Our wind gust map will be released next here at MSC, so come back this afternoon for the full map, or check it out right now over on our Patreon page!

A friendly reminder that September billing is now due. Thank you as always for keeping your accounts up to date—it helps us keep routes running smoothly. We also want to wish you and your families a Happy Labor Day! 🇺🇸We’re grateful for the hard work and dedication of our community.

🗓️ Please note: All routes will be running one day behind this week due to the holiday. For example, if your normal pickup day is Monday, service will be on Tuesday, and so on through the week.

In celebration of Labor Day, our office will be closed on Monday, September 1st.
All trash services will be delayed by one day for the week.
