I have never in my life made it a thing where I'd let anyone crash n' burn, so I'll never forgive the times I had to watch someone burn alive, and got punished for not putting out a flame I didn't want started. If it happens again, now I'll personally sit on a stump roasting s'mores off the embers

I don't believe speaking from your heart always has to be positive, to assume so wouldn't make it feel real. I still stand by what I said, worst I've done is set a boundary.

And if said boundary made anyone despise me after then it wasn't a loss. It was needed. That being said don't know about being a mom no more. A handful of people took these jokes and made it their personality:

Bullies, Mean girls, Mean girls but boys, Narcissists, Misogynists, Racists, Homophobes, DL men/women, Male centered women

"You don't look like whatchu' been through" has the same energy as "Huh, you don't look gay"

"I don't owe ya s**t if I find out you were lying since the day you met me"

I know not everyone knows how to love, but I have the right to go deadpan at folks that don't try. And the weirdest offenders are the ones that won't, but stay anyway. Anyone like that is; by definition, a waste of time
