FiberWorx is currently hiring Fiber Installers in Coastal Mississippi.
Fiber Installers work both inside and outside to test and repair equipment and services for our customers.
What you'll do as an Fiber Installer :
* Place aerial and underground fiber cable to homes
* Perform various jobs including assisting in fiber splicing
* Perform construction work such as digging holes, operating plows, and placing fiber cable
* Work with power equipment and small tools in the installation, repair and maintenance of outside plant facilities
In addition to possessing strong communication skills, our Fiber Installers must:
* Posses a valid state driver license
* Perceive differences in wire and cable colors
* Climb poles and/or ladders and work aloft with hand tools
* Lift and/or pull up to 100 lbs
* Work outside in all kinds of weather
* Use computers including tablets and/or cell phones to update work status and check new assignments
* Posses or can get valid insurances as required
** A TRUCK, VAN, OR SUV WITH LADDER RACK IS REQUIRED **

Our projects are currently located in the Pearl River County area.
