Conflict is a normal part of life, but having the right tools can make all the difference. πŸ’™

Skills like staying calm, communicating clearly, compromising, and setting healthy boundaries can help individuals navigate challenges and build stronger relationships with family, friends, coworkers, and others.

We're always grateful to see organizations providing free, accessible resources that help individuals with Down syndrome develop important life and social skills that support greater independence and self-advocacy.

Conflicts inevitably arise from time to time in our relationships with friends, family members, romantic partners, colleagues, and other people in our lives. There are several skills that are helpful for managing conflicts successfully. They include:
😌 calming down

🌞 Good Morning from NTS! 🌞
Today, we recognize National Cancer Survivors Day β€” a day dedicated to celebrating the strength, courage, and resilience of cancer survivors everywhere. πŸ’œ
A cancer diagnosis changes lives, not only for those fighting the disease but also for their families, friends, caregivers, and entire support systems. Today is a reminder to honor every survivor's journey, remember those we've lost, and support those who are still fighting.
Cancer survivors show us what determination looks like. Through treatments, setbacks, victories, and hope, they continue to inspire us with their perseverance and strength.
At NTS, we understand that mobility and independence can become even more important during and after medical challenges. We're grateful for the opportunity to help people maintain their freedom and continue doing the things they love.
πŸ’œ If you're a cancer survivor, know that your strength inspires others every day. πŸ’œ If you're supporting someone through their journey, your love and encouragement make a difference. πŸ’œ And if you've lost someone to cancer, we remember them with you today.
Take a moment today to celebrate a survivor, share a story of hope, or simply remind someone that they're not alone.
Have a wonderful Sunday, and from all of us at NTS, thank you to the survivors who show us the true meaning of courage. 🌞
