Our Back-to-School Basket of Miracles program helps children and siblings in families served by Miracles for Kids begin the school year feeling prepared, supported, and confident.

From backpacks and notebooks to crayons, binders, and markers — every donation helps lighten the load for families already carrying so much.

Creating space to slow down, reflect, and heal. 🎨💙

Last Thursday, families in our Balance Program gathered at the Miracles for Kids office for a special Art Therapy Workshop inspired by the “A Window Between Worlds” curriculum.

Through the creative exercise “Personal Needs Flower,” participants were encouraged to reflect on their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs while expressing themselves through art in a safe and supportive environment. The workshop created space for self-care, self-awareness, connection, and meaningful conversation — reminding families that caring for themselves is just as important as caring for others.

At Miracles for Kids, programs like Balance are designed to support the emotional well-being of families facing childhood illness, helping them find moments to recharge, connect, and simply breathe.

This year’s 360 Miracle Miracles in Bloom Tea presented by Diamond Wish Fine Jewelry was an afternoon of generosity and impact, thanks to every sponsor, underwriter, guest, volunteer, and supporter. Together, we raised $350,000+ in support of critically-ill children and families in need!

Bringing together 300 of our community’s most influential business leaders and philanthropists, the elegant tea experience included a stunning Diamond Wish Showcase and the unveiling of the Diamonds & Miracles: Charms of Love Collection to benefit Miracles for Kids, immersive floral installations by our generous lead sponsor L'amour Toujours Flower Boutique, a luxury silent auction, a Garden of Miracles that inspired guests to adopt 77 families for the upcoming Back-to-School Basket of Miracles, and a lively Raise the Rose fundraising moment.

Guests also heard directly from Miracles For Kids Family Speaker Catherine Anselmo, who shared her family’s powerful journey caring for her 6-year-old daughter Willow, diagnosed with DKL5 deficiency disorder — a reminder of the real families behind the mission. Inspirational guest speaker Sarah Stage also inspired guests with a heartfelt message about resilience and showing up for those that need it most.

The excitement continued with Sathya Chey Patterson winning the Opportunity Drawing and going home with the $19,999 lab grown diamond pear fashion necklace, generously donated by Diamond Wish Fine Jewelry.

Our hearts are truly full of gratitude to everyone who helped make miracles bloom.
