Nearly 1 in 3 firefighters nationwide have contemplated su***de. Since 2017, more firefighters have died from su***de than Line of Duty Deaths. Being a firefighter is the second most stressful job, only behind combat soldiers.

This month, Orange County Firefighters Local 3631 are committed to breaking the silence and making sure our firefighters and their families have the resources they need to protect their mental health.

If any OCFA Firefighters and/or family members need help, please use the free and top of the line resources available to us. Call the Counseling Team 24/7 at (800) 222-9691 or the Local 3631 office during business hours at (949) 486-3631 for additional FREE, confidential resources.

The physical and mental health of our firefighters is the number one concern of Orange County Firefighters Local 3631. We need to rely on one another, support one another, and get the help that is available when we need it.
