Another CommonTable event in the books! Thanks to our friends at Big Grove Brewery for hosting this round. We were able to feed 200+ homeless & food-insecure members of our community thanks to the generosity of so many ♥️ We are grateful for the support of ALL of our restaurant partners who encompass the CommonTable family and support these events every quarter:

For the third year in a row, CommonTable & our restaurant partners are proud to be serving a Thanksgiving meal to our food-insecure & homeless neighbors out of Big Grove Brewery thanks to the generous donations of many. If you’d like to help out you can donate a PIE 🥧 by dropping it off at Big Grove IC anytime between 3-7 pm this Wednesday, November 24! 🧡
We held another CommonTable event last Friday and got to welcome members of our community who are experiencing homelessness, hunger, or food insecurity. In addition to a chef-prepared meal, were we able to offer haircuts and beard trims thanks to the folks at Mint Salon + Barbering! Huge shoutout to Chef Ben and the event & kitchen teams at Big Grove Brewery for hosting us this round, and thank you to all who volunteered with us! 👊🙌

Another successful CommonTable event in the books! Yesterday we were able to feed chef-prepared meals to 450 food-insecure individuals & families in the Corridor. We’d like to express gratitude to all who helped make it happen: to Tin Roost and their culinary team, led by Chef William & chef Shane of 30hop IRL, for hosting and preparing the food; to all the awesome volunteers (Tin Roost, Joe's Place Ic & others) who donated their time, and to our wonderful local suppliers who donated food & resources including Sysco Iowa, Bread Garden Market & Bakery, The Supply Place at Lenoch & Cilek, and Gloria Dei Lutheran Church - Iowa City. Today - with the help of some incredible volunteers, local restaurants, their teams, and some local businesses - we were able to cook, package, and deliver 600+ meals to local shelters and food pantries for those in need. Reminding us there is much to be thankful for, today and always 💛
