IU Physician Assistant Program

Our students are in the homestretch of Block one- dermatology, ophthalmology, and ENT! They had a day full of fluorescein stain, nose packing, and testing intraoccular pressures.

It is always super rewarding to practice our skills! 👀🦻🔴

Next up is our social media mastermind, Taryn🧠

Taryn is from Wapakoneta, Ohio!

She studied Health Sciences and Yoga Studies at the University of Cincinnati.

Before starting PA school, she worked as an orthopedic medical assistant and is most interested in emergency medicine.

Outside of school she loves playing Catan, going to YogaSix and running with her besties, biking the Monon, and tending to her garden!!

We are so lucky to have you! 💛😁

PA students can have fun too!

We had a great weekend exploring Indy and seeing a Colts game together! 🔵⚪️

Next up is our fearless leader, Joel. 💥💥

Joel is from Osceola, Indiana.
He was a swimmer at Hope College and graduated with a degree in exercise science.
Before coming to school he was a nurse tech at a surgical center and most interested in orthopedics after graduation.
Outside of school, he likes snowboarding and being outside!

We are so lucky to have you Joel!

The annual homecoming regatta race was an absolute success over here! The all girls team placed 6th in the women’s league!

We could not be more obsessed with these moments we get to bond with our classmates after busy weeks! 🚣❤️

Starting our Class of 2028 introductions strong with our lovely Ava! ❤️

Her hometown is Malibu, CA
She studied Neuroscience at the University of Michigan
Her clinical work before school was as a dermatology medical assistant in a Moh’s surgery clinic!
Her interests are in either cardiology, dermatology, or pediatrics.

In her free time, Ava enjoys trying new restaurants in Indy, game nights with PA school friends, playing intramural volleyball, and training for a half marathon!

We are so lucky to have you! 💥🩺

The fall semester is in full swing around here! The Class of 2028 just had their first of many point of care ultrasound labs!

With the Class of 2028 returning for their fall semester tomorrow we wanted to take a second and share our newly elected IU Physician Assistant Student Society members.

They are so excited to hit the ground running planning volunteering events, organizing fundraisers, and making time to get together as classmates during this busy semester. 🥳🔴

Finally, to wrap up all of the excitement in our program this week the Class of 2028 just finished their first semester!

We are so proud of all of their hard work and dedication and can’t wait to see how much they will grow in the next year! 💥🩺🏥
