Omaha Expanding CHI Health Center

CHI Health Center Omaha has begun a $200 million expansion that will add space and flexibility to the downtown convention center. The project includes a 90,000-square-foot, two-level addition on the east side of the building, bringing the center’s total square footage to 420,000. Once complete, the expansion will increase the number of meeting rooms from 16 to 41, adding 25 new spaces for groups. The addition will feature floor-to-ceiling glass walls with views of the Missouri River, along with updated flooring, woodwork and restrooms. According to Visit Omaha, the expansion is expected to be completed in summer 2027.
