Our team spent the day exploring the Cats and Dogs exhibit and more at the Indiana State Museum followed by lunch and plenty of great conversation!

🐯🐾 What a PAWsome night at Greenwood Public Library! 🐾🐯

Two of our therapy teams joined Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood for a fun meet and greet!

Our teams spent the evening connecting with kids and families, bringing a little extra joy to an already exciting night. We even heard that at one point, the therapy teams had a longer line than Daniel Tiger! 🥹🐶 And we know Daniel Tiger is a pretty big deal, so we’ll take that as a huge compliment!

One of our therapy teams summed up the night perfectly: “My face hurts from smiling so much.” ❤️

We couldn’t have said it better ourselves. We love seeing the joy our therapy teams bring to events like this, and we’re so grateful to Greenwood Public Library for inviting us to be part of such a fun evening! 🐾✨

We’ve been spending time backstage at Everwise Amphitheater at White River State Park where bands and their crews can take a few minutes before the doors open to hang out with some very special four-legged visitors.

We’re excited that Live Nation and Everwise Amphitheater are calling on Paws & Think when touring artists want to visit with therapy teams while they’re in Indy! 🎤🐾

From belly rubs and ear scratches to a little pre-show relaxation, our teams are always ready to make a backstage visit a little more PAWsome. 💙

We can’t wait to see who we’ll meet next! 🎸🐶

We were honored to recently be part of the Arthritis Foundation’s 2026 Juvenile Arthritis Family Summit in Indianapolis. This is the largest gathering in the U.S. for children with arthritis and other rheumatic diseases, along with the families who support them.

Five Paws & Think therapy dog teams spent the afternoon at the Panda Clinic, a popular hands-on activity where children could guide a stuffed panda through simulated medical checkups, from blood pressure readings to “shots”, in a fun, supportive environment designed to help make learning about their own care feel more approachable and ease medical anxiety.

Our teams were a huge hit with children and teens rotating through the clinic, offering extra comfort, and plenty of smiles along the way. One of our teams also joined the Women’s Relaxation Station, providing a calming and joyful break for moms and female caregivers attending the Summit.

Thank you to the Arthritis Foundation for inviting Paws & Think to be part of this meaningful event, and to our incredible volunteer teams for bringing comfort, connection, and the healing power of dogs to so many families. 💙🐾

Shannon Brazda and Bella: Bella is a precious 6-year-old Amish Farm Lab Mix with the sweetest smile. Shannon and Bella are interested in volunteering at senior facilities and special events. We can’t wait to see this team out and about!

Jennifer Pleasure and Lucy: Lucy is a 8-year-old Shih Tzu and just the sweetest little nugget. Jennifer and Lucy are interested in visiting libraries and senior facilities. This team is sure to make so many smile!

Nicholas Walters and Zeus: With a name like Zeus and an amazing personality, this 2-year-old Lab is sure to bring joy to so many! Nick and Zeus are interested in trying out many different volunteer opportunities with Paws & Think.

Tracie Startzman and Austra: Austra is a 5-year-old pup with a heart of gold and a joyous smile. Tracie and Austra are interested in volunteering at libraries and eventually hospitals /healthcare facilities. This sweet team is sure to bring joy to all those that cross their path!

Happy Retirement to Therapy Dog Hero! 🐾

After eight years of dedicated service, Therapy Dog Hero is officially retiring from Paws & Think.

Alongside his mom/handler, Tiffany, Hero served more than 400 volunteer hours and touched over 4,800 lives. He especially loved visiting with young readers through our Paws to Read program at Southport and Greenwood libraries and looked forward to volunteering each year at Brooke's Place Camp Healing Tree.

Thank you to Hero and Tiffany for sharing their time, compassion, and dedication with Paws & Think and our community. Their commitment has made a lasting difference in the lives of so many.

Congratulations, Hero, on your well-deserved retirement! We wish you many happy, relaxing days ahead. 💙💛
