Part three- last but not least for our PKC International Tournament results is Monica Ward. She earned
2nd in kata
1st in weapons kata -which allowed her to go onto the “top dog” challenge of the tournament where she earned 1st place in weapons kata for her division of 18+ kyu rank and was awarded Grand Champion 2026!
We are very proud of you and love how far your belief in our student creed “win the battle within yourself” has taken you. Way to go, Monica! 👊🏼🥋

2nd in self defense (which was her first time competing in this category!)
She was also recognized and awarded for being the “Most Enthusiastic Competitor” in the PKC ♥️ She truly embraces everyone and jumps right into every event with a confidence that inspires us all. Well done, Lily! 👊🏼🥋

As we approach the 37th PKC Internationals this weekend, we’d like to take a moment to highlight one of our students who will be participating in the tournament. Lily Thompson (seen here sporting her success from the Indy Showdown tournament) has worked hard to improve her skills and it shows! We couldn’t be more proud of her and how she inspires everyone around her to go for their goals as well. Best wishes this weekend, Lily. We know you will do great! 👊🏼🥋♥️

Movie Night was a success!! The kids had a great time and we enjoyed nurturing the next generation of Karate Kid fans 😜🥋♥️

Join us for our first parent’s night out August 21st from 6-9! 🍕 🎥 🤩 Any child age 4 and up is welcome to attend even if they are not a current student of ours. That means friends, family, students new and old are invited for a night of pizza, movie, and games while parents go have some fun, too!

Some of our students competed in the Indy Showdown tournament, hosted by the Blade Family Martial Arts Academy this past weekend. They had a blast seeing familiar faces and making new friends!
