As many of you know, my father and co-owner of the Golden Ace, Jim McGinley, passed away about six weeks ago. He loved St. Patrick’s Day….it was his favorite day of the year! Two of the things Jim loved most about St. Patrick’s Day was, one—hosting top-notch Irish music so the people of Indianapolis could appreciate an authentically Irish celebration. And two—Jim loved Irish musicians coming to Indy and seeing people take such pride and enthusiasm in their heritage. He always believed that although some cities had bigger Irish communities— none had a better Irish community than Indianapolis.

So, it’s only fitting that this year, before he passed, Jim hand picked the Golden Ace St. Patrick’s musical lineup one last time. It’s filled with legendary Irish acts….and true friends of the Golden Ace. We hope you can make it on any, or all of the 3 days—Friday March 13, Saturday March 14, or St. Patrick’s Day itself March 17, 2026.

And be sure to raise a pint to those who have gone before us…and a prayer that their legacy may live on!
