Looking for a spot to watch Notre Dame vs Stanford this weekend?

We will be having a Watch Party on John and Ann’s Patio at 3:30 PM on October 10th to cheer on Notre Dame! For $10, you can play music bingo with a taco bar.

What is music bingo?

Our DJ, Sean McGinley, will play 30-60 seconds of a song. Categories include one hit wonders, country, yacht rock, party, and of course, St. Patrick’s Day favorites.

Your job- identify the song, mark it off your bingo card if listed, and sing along!

Come help us cheer on the Notre Dame Irish at noon tomorrow!

We’ll have a Bloody Mary bar with all the toppings to put on—celery, bacon, olives, cheese, etc

Original owner, John McGinley, played the concertina and would gather local Irish musicians at the Golden Ace for a session.

Much like you’d find in an Irish pub across the pond, we carry on that tradition today with an Irish music session every Wednesday at 8 PM and folk music every Thursday at 7 PM.

Come share a pint with us—or two—and enjoy some good music, good company, and a little taste of Ireland

The V was put in as a symbol of patriotism in World War II by John & Ann McGinley. It was installed in the early 1940’s. It has shone brightly above the bar ever since.

The V for victory was a slogan for the hopeful Allied victory over the Axis. Of course, it’s the U.S.colors (part of the Allied forces) of red, white and blue.
