June is here and it’s Q***r! 🏳️🌈
This Pride Month on the blog, Fellow and StitchWorks instructor is exploring the decades of q***r fashion history and the lasting impact LGBTQ+ communities have on style, culture, and self-expression.
From quiet acts of rebellion in the early 1900s to the bold creativity of ballroom culture and modern-day fashion movements, q***r influence has continuously shaped the way we dress and express identity. This piece looks at how fashion became not just clothing, but a language of visibility, resistance, community, and belonging.

🪡🧵 New classes just opened !! We have a collab with on June 19th !
We will create a “Quilt Bag” with a long detachable strap, ruffle sides, a lining, and handles for versatility. We will add the ‘puff’ of the bag by filling the squares with scraps of fabric and a mix of polyfil.
Amber from Lapis Lilly will provide an array of trinkets to choose from to create your bag charm.
