Had a great evening with my wife at the Indiana Democratic Party’s Hoosier Hospitality Dinner. Always good to connect with leaders, advocates, and friends from across the state while hearing from Elissa Slotkin about the future of our country and party.

Started the day with Marlin Jackson at the Fight for Life Foundation’s 4th Annual Building Dreams Champions Breakfast.

Great conversations, great energy, and a great reminder of what’s possible when we invest in our young people.

Great conversation at Coffee with a Cop hosted by IMPD North District and the Center Township Trustee’s Office. Always good to connect with neighbors, hear concerns, and build stronger relationships between public safety and the community one cup at a time. ☕👮🏾‍♂️

Wrapped up my final session of Cohort 3 of the Madam Walker Legacy Center’s Legacy Leaders Civic Engagement Program!

I count it a privilege to partner with the Madam Walker Legacy Center to pour into the next generation of civic leaders. Special thanks to IDAAC President Sean Johnson for sharing his wisdom and experience with our cohort. Thank you to The Honorable Trustee LaDonna Freeman and The Honorable Judge Annette Roper for opening up their space to host us.

The Madam Walker Summer Institute (MWSI) Virtual Power Hours take place Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 1pm–2pm ET, July 7–30.

This series highlights STEAM-based learning through interactive sessions designed to keep young people curious, learning, and connected throughout the summer.
