Great day today! IU wins again, and I was promoted to Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve! 🇺🇸🎖️

A big thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us and be part of the ceremony. We appreciate you all!

Ma’am, you’re going to have to provide lots of evidence to support this statement, especially when you’re advocating for policies that would take money away from Indianapolis public safety. 💸💸💸💸💸

Anyone know what is happening here? I think it’s by Old Southside

🛡️ Why I’m Voting YES to Keep Violent Offenders Off the Street

Every Hoosier voter will see Public Question #1 on their ballot this November.

Public Question #1 would give judges another tool: the ability to deny bail when the proof is evident or the presumption strong, and the state proves by clear and convincing evidence that no conditions of release can reasonably protect another person or the community.

Think about the people who are arrested, released, and then accused of committing another crime while their case is still pending. If the evidence is strong and no reasonable conditions of release can protect the community, I believe a judge should have the ability to hold that person without bail.

Right now, Indiana’s Constitution generally provides a right to bail for people charged with crimes other than murder or treason.

I’m voting YES because I believe judges should have that option when the facts show that releasing someone would pose a serious threat to the community.

Hey ! We need to get this party started! 🇺🇸
