Take The Reins - Equine Assisted Learning Program

It is with great sadness and regret that I inform you all that Take the Reins will not be holding sessions for the rest of the year. This decision has been such a difficult one for our team but I am on day 5 of a hospital stay and unfortunately, our whole team has been dealing with health issues this past month. The sad realization we reached is that this is just not our year. We were so looking forward to seeing you all and fully intend on getting back to work next spring, healthy and ready for exciting times with your kiddos at Carmel Equestrian Center! If you are looking to find ride time or lessons in the meantime I would be happy to help you with that! We appreciate your understanding and look forward to seeing you all again very soon! Bucky especially! 🐴❤️

Our Fall programming is really coming together and we are so excited to share it with you all!! We will be hosting an Open House event at our beautiful new facility on September 18th! Details to follow!!

Hi there TTR friends and family!! I wanted to take a moment to apologize for not being active these past few months! My grandmother was ill and passed so I was traveling extensively back to the east coast and then managed to dislocate my hip (super ouch 😣) which had me out of the saddle and barn for months 😭 I had kept quiet trying to figure out how fast my recovery would be before I scheduled any sessions but recovery is still ongoing. I’m doing much better and have started riding again along with PT so I am hoping to be relatively good as new by August 🤞🏻

We are excited to announce our new location- Carmel Equestrian Center!
This beautiful facility offers new equine partners as well as mini horses and donkeys! We can’t wait to have you all there! Message me if you have any specific questions, otherwise I will update you with session dates starting in August!
