What started as a great idea has quickly become something the entire Sprintcar community has embraced. The passion, hard work and commitment that’s gone into creating these cards — and turning them into such a craze around the sport — is a real credit to everyone involved.

Lismore Speedway has been cancelled this weekend.
We were super excited to actually get back and cut some laps.
Mick and Cindy have made the right decision to cancel but it sucks not to be able to race at Lismore this season.

⚠️ MEETING CANCELLED – THIS WEEKEND ⚠️

Due to an unfavourable weather forecast for Saturday evening, the decision has been made to cancel this weekend’s meeting at Lismore Speedway.

This call has been made early to allow competitors, teams, and travelling supporters to adjust plans, especially with the significant travel costs currently involved and long distances many teams are covering.

A huge thank you to the Koivumaki Team, who have already made the journey to Lismore all the way from the Northern Territory — your commitment to the sport does not go unnoticed and is greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately, this cancellation brings the season to a close for some divisions at Lismore Speedway.

We will now work closely with Speedway Sedans NSW to explore a possible new date to re-run the NSW Street Stock Title, with further updates to come.

All Online Tickets will be refunded.

🏁A NEW AGE PARTNERSHIP FOR AMBROSE SAUER

An Australian made product has joined forces with Sauer Family Racing to herald young Ambrose Sauer's entry into Formula 500 racing this weekend at Muswellbrook's Lake Liddell Speedbowl.
Gonzo Racing Pipes based in Gatton, Queensland (Gonzo mufflers and headers) are very well known in Australian motor sport and will be in their corner in what also represents a new age presentation that Gonzo has taken to the next level.
“The advantage of what we are doing with Ambrose is that we can colour code the muffler to the car. This is his first meeting in a Formula 500 and he will be the only kid there with a green muffler,” Gonzo's head honcho Bruce Agate said.
Bruce certainly knows what he is talking about, having been providing racing mufflers for over 30 years. His products have been used in a lot of forms of speedway competition and also in the Australian Supercar and drag racing ranks.
“With our mufflers, we have a state by state arrangement and we have also worked very closely with the 410 engine Sprintcar builders. – and that represents a power gain. When we compare our muffler to the American product that they all use in gauging a power gain, ours is twenty to twenty-four horsepower better through the RTM range.
“Ambrose not only has one on his racecar but when noise testing, our product has passed all DBA requirements,” Bruce further explained.
For Ambrose, 11, this is the next step in his speedway career after he initially entered the sport in the Junior Sedan division. He is a very accomplished Go-Karter with plenty of track time that also serves as excellent preparation when he buckles into the his Formula 500 powered by a four cylinder Yamaha engine at Lake Laddell Speedbowl, Saturday, March 14.
Gonzo Race Pipes has its own T-shirt merchandise range under its sisterhood-brotherhood promotional banner. Produced by the Wildink company, there's pink T-shirts for girls/ladies and the boys/men's range comes in black, grey and white.
“Gonzo’s experience in motor sports is very decorated and it's a proud partnership with the Sauer family. The new age is what it's all about with presentation,” Kim Sauer added.

The next chapter with the Sauer Racing Team is about to begin.

While we have been busy Sprintcar Racing most weekends we also (aka Dad) has been very busy putting a new 500 team together. A huge shoutout to Ben and Tracey Daley Ben Daley Signs for the awesome job on our trailer and race car.

Ambrose will be making his debut this weekend @ Lake Liddell speedbowl.
