🎨 Congratulations to ICC Fine Arts students Callista Romans and Phoebe Swartz on their success at the Verdigris Valley Art Exhibition hosted by the Independence Historical Museum!

🏆 Callista Romans earned 1st Place in Painting for her piece, Breath into the Silence.

🏆 Phoebe Swartz earned 2nd Place in Sculpture for her piece, Dinner is Not Over.

The exhibition also featured work by ICC Art Instructor Luke Blevins, who received 2nd Place in Drawing for Hook, Line… and an Honorable Mention in Painting for Disagreement.

Kids College students in Floats & Boats built and sailed boats in the fountain while learning about buoyancy. They also made their own "diver in a bottle" and explored the science behind how things float and sink.

Kids College is off to a great start with Cosmetology Hair Design. From braiding and nail design to comb keepy-uppy races, our sessions are packed with creativity and smiles.
