Last week, we attended Love Live Local's Holiday Love Local Fest in Hyannis.

It was a joyous event that served as a reminder about the importance of shopping local and supporting local artists, makers, creatives, and businesses this holiday season. When you do, you strengthen our local economy and our community.

🎄The best way to get in the Christmas spirit? By attending The Academy Playhouse's special reading of "A Christmas Carol" next Wednesday at 7 pm.

They'll also be collecting donations for the Lower Cape Outreach Council to help our neighbors in need this holiday season.

NEXT Wednesday, 12/17 at 7pm, join us for a staged reading of A Christmas Carol—a fresh adaptation by CJ Breland, directed by Suzanne Fecteau. It’s a cozy, heartfelt night of theater that’s friendly for all ages and perfect for getting into the holiday spirit 🎄

We’re also hosting a Food Drive benefiting the Lower Cape Outreach Council, so if you’re able, bring along a donation and help spread some seasonal kindness.

Nothing like the Cape Symphony's Holiday On The Cape concert to put you in the spirit of the season!

It was a fun, festive concert filled with great performances from the Cape Symphony, the Cape Symphony Youth Orchestra, The Chatham Chorale, Align Dance Training, and of course, Santa Claus!

Tis the season!

Tonight, we enjoyed the Barnstable Village Association Holiday Stroll. There was festive music, tasty food and drink, ice sculpting, and photos with Santa.

The best part was the spirit of community the stroll engendered. May that spirit continue to fill the Cape in events like this over the course of the holidays.

What You'll Get:

👉A business plan that identifies goals for your creative practice and steps to achieving them

🎯 Small group coaching and connection to a group of Cape creatives

🎉 A $1,000 grant at the end of program completion

As the holiday shopping season kicks off in full swing, we encourage you to shop local and support local artists. We did that last week at the annual Art in the Garden Room at Bucatino Restaurant and Wine Bar.

Organized by Kimberly Sheerin of The Barn Pottery, artists included CapeGlass, Muskie Lounge, Robin Pierson, Wicked Whale Boards, Cape Beadworks, Nautical Designs, Standish Wood Birdhouses, Caspia Cove Jewelry, and more!

Many of these artists will be participating in upcoming holiday craft shows and open houses over the coming weeks.
