You never know what needs to be scooped out of the pool before we open. Thank goodness we have the pros to discard of any unwanted critters.

Good news, Thornton Acres Pool members! The pool will not close until September 21. We’ve got you covered with football, food and friendship and maybe some boiled peanuts for those that know. Tomorrow will be our big blow out.

Super fun summer that did not disappoint. Unlike other community pools, we stay open until the chemicals run out.

It’s hot but the pool is refreshing. Make sure your flip flops are in the shade and your body in the water. 💦 🏊

Have you paid your dues and not yet received a key?

Have you put in your 4 hours of work (the bathrooms need cleaning)? 🧹 🧼 🚽

Someone will be at the pool and will have keys 🔑 Thursday until 6p and Friday 5p-7p (weather permitting).

The pool painting is almost complete and we are ahead of schedule! 📅 🏊 🌊

Have you noticed how spiffy your neighborhood pool is looking?

During recent renovations, we found these gems from 1979-1980 when Thornton Acres swam against the NW YMCA. These are heat assignments and a relay group sheet. What makes us super happy is that some of these prior swim team members are current members!

We still have pool memberships available and we’d love for you to join us. We no longer have a swim team which means the pool doesn’t close except for routine maintenance. Each member gets a key so you can spend beautiful sunsets with friends at TAP whenever you want!
