💕 Pink in Motion! 🎀

This past weekend, we had the opportunity to bring a little extra PINK to Clearview Cancer Institute’s Pink in Motion event!

From the bold pinks to the soft blush tones, this installation was all about creating a fun, welcoming space while supporting a message that matters: Your best check starts with you.

I absolutely love when balloon décor gets to be part of an event with purpose — and this one was beautiful from every angle.

Thank you for trusting Designs by Essence to help bring the vision to life!

🎀 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Over the years, I've had the opportunity to create balloon décor in recognition of breast cancer awareness, survivors, fighters, and the families and communities standing beside them.

From a classic pink ribbon to larger-than-life ribbon installations, it's always meaningful when my work gets to be part of events created for a purpose. 💗

Here's to a month of awareness, support, strength, and hope. 🎀

Woman Crush Wednesday… Women Honoring Women edition! ✨️

With the 25th Annual Women Honoring Women celebration happening tomorrow, we had to flash back to some of the fun from last year!

There’s something special about seeing a room full of women celebrating, supporting and cheering for one another — and we love creating photo experiences that become part of those memories. 💚

Designs by Essence is excited to celebrate with the WEDC Foundation again tomorrow. Here’s to 25 years of Women Honoring Women! 🥂

POPCORN, but make it balloons. 🍿🎈

A little throwback to this fun movie-inspired installation for Athens State University's Women's Day screening of Lilly at McCandless Hall!

We brought the movie-night theme to life with oversized popcorn boxes, balloon “popcorn,” and lots of little details that made this design so much fun to create.

Because balloon décor doesn't just decorate the room — it can help tell the story of the event.

Planning a corporate, university, or community event in North Alabama? Designs by Essence creates custom balloon décor designed around your event.

Pretty balloon décor starts with the basics.

Before the colors, accents and creative details, consistent sizing, solid construction and strong technique make all the difference.

Those foundations are behind every clean column and classic arch you see here — and they’re exactly what we’ll be working on in Balloon Foundations.

If you’re ready to stop guessing and start building with confidence, come learn with me.
