The April full moon, also known as the Pink Moon because of the pink flowers in bloom at this time of year, rises behind the Saturn V just after sunset tonight. It's also a "micromoon" as the moon is at it's farthest point from earth.

Despite how it looks, Horseshoe Bend is extremely crowded at sunset. Thankfully, the masses started to leave after the sun went behind the distant mountains giving a little more elbow room to shoot.

Amazing to be able to photograph the Northern Lights last night in Page, AZ. Such an amazing sight to be able to see them without a camera.

Just an incredible night to get to capture the and the red rocks of Sedona. Never in my wildest dreams did I think this could happen.

The 2024 total eclipse was every bit as amazing as 2017 and worth the trip to the Bluegrass State. Thankfully the clouds lifted about an hour before totality. There are no words to describe hearing the birds begin singing as the sky darkens, the temperature cooling and the ethereal light that surrounds you.
