Here's a great way to meet our new pastor! :)

Our new Minister of Engagement, Dale Capron will lead our Safe Sanctuary Training on June 25 beginning at 12pm in Wesley Hall. This is required training for anyone who volunteers or thinks they might volunteer with children, youth, Trinity Friends and missions involving these persons. Please try to attend if at all possible. Register for lunch at trinityhsv.org/events.

Who doesn't need a day of Renewal and soul care? Join us as we hear refreshing words and share ways to care for our souls. All women from teens and beyond are invited!

Hello Ladies,

Even though Covid is still around we hope to still keep you, our wonderful UMW ladies, engaged! We have some exciting opportunities coming up to do just that!

- Spring Virtual Women's Bible Study - COMING SOON!

UMW will sponsor a Spring Semester Women's Virtual Bible Study on Wednesday's at 6 p.m. from February 24th - May 19th led by Pastor Carrie over Zoom. It will be on "Twelve Women of the Bible" by Lysa TerKeurst. We will also have a private page to be able to bond other than zoom throughout the week. This is a great way to invite others not in UMW. Look for more information coming soon!

- UMW Focusing on Quarterly Missions.

Q1: Jan - March: Meals to Grow Packing Night: Come join fellow UMW members to pack Meals to Grow Bags. Packing Night will be announced soon!

Q2: April - June: Our UMW will provide the hard working teachers and staff of Sonnie Hereford (one of the schools where we provide ALL students with Meals to Grow bags) with lunch! Lookout for more information.

Q3: July - September: Free 2 Teach School Supply Drive. Look Out for more information when the time is closer.

Q4: Oct - Dec: Upper Sand Mountain Toy Drive

Normally in October we would have had our luncheon and general meeting with the World Thank Offering. Unfortunately we were not able to have that this year, due to Covid. Our UMW member Kay West, met Upper Sand Mountain worker, D'Andre, to drop off food for Upper Sand Mountain this morning. Our UMW is showing the love of Christ in Action during these unusual times!

Here is Kay West, one of our Trinity UMW members who delivers food weekly to several locations such as Adam's House of Harvest, Downtown Rescue Mission, New Futures, Holmes Street UMC, Upper Sand Mtn and Safe Harbor to help those who need food. Thank you Kay West for all of your hard work for those in need!
