2026 Swing for Shelter Recap ⛳

Even with the rain, we still made the most of an incredible day at Swing for Shelter last Friday! Thank you to everyone who came out and supported the event, and a special thank you to all of our sponsors, golfers, and volunteers who helped make the day possible.

Your support helps make a lasting impact in the lives of the men, women, and children served by the Downtown Rescue Mission, and we are so grateful for this amazing community.

❤ Feed America First Recap 💙

This month’s Feed America First was another wonderful success as we were able to serve families in our community with fresh food and support.

A special thank you to the volunteers from Leidos for giving their time and helping make the day possible. We’re so grateful for your partnership and willingness to serve alongside us! ✨

🏥 One partnership many people may not know about is our ongoing collaboration with Wellstone.

Our partnership with Wellstone has been incredibly valuable in helping us better serve members of our homeless community. We have a unique opportunity to work together in supporting many of the same clients, with Wellstone offering services both on our campus and in-house at their facility.

Their team assists with evaluations and provides expert support ranging from crisis care to routine follow-ups. Their weekly presence on campus has created a more hands-on approach to serving those in our care and has strengthened communication and collaboration between our organizations.

We are incredibly grateful for Wellstone and their continued commitment to our community. ❤

🎓 Congratulations to KTECH Class 26! 💙

We were honored to celebrate alongside KTECH yesterday and are especially proud of Downtown Rescue Mission program graduates David and Nick, who also graduated from KTECH.

Through our partnership with KTECH, lives are being changed through opportunities for training, employment, and long-term stability. We’re also excited to celebrate David for receiving a scholarship during the ceremony!

We’re grateful for this meaningful collaboration and excited to see what’s ahead for these graduates! ✨

🍔 Customer Appreciation Day Recap ❤

Thank you to everyone who came out to our Madison Thrift Store last Friday and shopped with us! We loved having the opportunity to serve our community and spend the day with all of you.
