Per Centerpoint:

"Crews have identified extensive tree damage across the company's system," CenterPoint wrote in a statement. "Trees across the Greater Houston area were particularly vulnerable due to three unusual years of weather, including significant freezes, drought and heavy rain this past spring. Downed trees and a significant amount of tree debris had a major impact on CenterPoint's distribution system of poles and wires."

It's going to come out that they have cut their budget for vegetation remediation as they call it to show better numbers on their bottom line. All at the expense of their customers now during this fiasco. Someone should be looking into that. 3 years of infrastructure neglect.

I wanted to take a minute and apologize to our customers for the ongoing construction fiasco taking place in front of our business. The FM1960 expansion is taking longer than expected (imagine that), and the construction crews are constantly making access changes into our facility by making it narrow and cumbersome to traverse. We ask that you please bear with us as we believe we are about 2-3 weeks away from them being done in front of our store to the point that access will be better and safer.

We are one of the last driveways on the far west side of the construction zone where they still have to pour the driveway concrete portion of the new road. We are hoping that they get this done over the weekend of 7/15/2023. They constantly change their schedule so this is tentative.

We appreciate you patronage and like you all, look forward to this all being done. They've said about 4 more months.
