MetroWest Food Collaborative

We all deserve food, enough to eat and to share. SNAP is one of our most powerful tools to make that real, and it's under threat from Washington. But here in Massachusetts, our leaders have the tools to protect and strengthen it -- and we're empowering them to use them.

Join us to share a meal with our neighbors and legislators, as we tell the story together of why SNAP matters in Massachusetts.

Meet at the entrance at 24 Beacon Street at 10:30 AM. We'll share songs and stories outside, then move together into the building for lunch at 11:30, in community with our elected officials.

RSVP at https://boston-food-access-council.solidarity.tech/peoples-potluck to let us know you'll join and what kind of food suits you best.

Email [email protected] with questions, or to let us know how we can best support you or your community in participating.

Come join us at the Downtown Framingham Adult Resource Fair! We will be at our table answering any questions you might have. We hope to see you there! 🌏✨

We are excited to welcome our new staff members - Marcie, Wanessa, and Luciana!

Marcie is our new communications intern. Wanessa and Luciana are our new bilingual community food advocates. We are piloting this role to allow us to connect more with residents and help spread awareness of local food programs and opportunities.

We were humbled to be recognized as one of Framingham Public Schools’ honorees for the “Community Partner Appreciation Award” for this school year. They shared that the MetroWest Food Collaborative was chosen for intentionally partnering with the district to combat food insecurity for students and families through coordination of food related services through the city of Framingham, and the larger MetroWest Community. It was also fitting to be receiving this award alongside many of the other organizations who provide the food to our community: Greater Framingham Community Church, United Way of Tri-County, A Place to Turn, Daniel’s Table and the MetroWest YMCA.
