This special shop has carried the Jenna Kator Collection for more than 14 years, and we’re incredibly grateful that the tradition is continuing with its new owners.

Today I stopped in Dixboro, Michigan, a tiny, charming village just outside of Ann Arbor and the namesake behind our Dixboro Crossbody.

One of my favorite things about designing has always been celebrating the Michigan places that make our state feel like home. Some are well known, others are little places you might simply stumble upon and Dixboro is one of those special little gems.

Of course, I couldn’t leave without stopping into the charming Dixboro General Store… where I spotted the Dixboro Crossbody right at home on their display.

Seventeen years later, I still get a little excited seeing a handbag named for a Michigan town sitting in the very place that inspired it.
