We here at ( NJ DOGS Training Center ) are striving to help you build and better connection between you and your canine companion. It is our goal to help you properly care for , socialize and train your dog in a positive and highly effective manner. Not only do we offer advanced training for your pet, but we also cater to pets who display "obnoxious" behaviors that may be driving you crazy. For example:
Destructive Chewing
Aggressive towards strangers or other animals
House soiling
Constantly jumps up on guests
Bark for no reason
Wouldn't you like to be able to take your dog with you to different places? If your are striving to raise a happy, healthy and well adjusted dog, NJ DOGS Training Center is the place for you. We look forward to helping you and your pet come to a loving understanding. We specialize in private one-on-one training programs with you and your dog in order to achieve optimum results in obedience and behaviors. Private training allows for a customized approach to each dog, its owner and family, and its living situation. We come to your home so the dog is more relaxed to learn. After the basic are learned we will bring you and your dog out to a public area to show you how to deal with environmental complications (like other dogs, people, trucks, noises and more). Basic Obedience Training : All Basic commands: Heel, Sit , Down, Stay, Come. Our private instruction is tailored to achieving real life results that are useful and necessary for your dog's safety. Puppy Training : 8 weeks and up. Getting off to a good start: Housebreaking, chewing, nipping, come when called, introduction to commands, use of the crate, children and puppies, socializing, preventing fears and aggressive behaviors, ect. For those considering training we highly recommend puppy training, it can prevent long term problems and is a valuable education for the owners. We use the puppies meals to keep their attention during training as rewards (Not Treats). Behavior Modification: ALL AGGRESSION ISSUES (guarding objects / food, towards strangers, at the home, towards other dogs and animals, on or off property specific aggression), obsessive-compulsive behaviors, fears, destructive behaviors, separation anxiety (stress), general unruly behaviors such as jumping, hyperactivity, food or object theft off counters and tables, etc. Behavior modification requires advanced skills and education in animal behavior and modification techniques. Not all training facilities are equipped to handle such problems. We will teach you how to use all training tools properly need for you dog. Some of the tools we use are leashes all lengths, slip or prong correction collars. We even can do off - leash training with e-collars. We stress owner education because that is the key to success with your dog or puppy. The more you know, the better the results. Most training facilities and schools fail to connect the concept of developing a well adjusted and balanced dog. NJ DOGS Training Center specializes in an overall approach to help develop the pet you always wanted. Whether you have a new 8 week old puppy, a newly adopted / rescued older dog, or an older pet with some ongoing behavior issues, we can help make sure that you avoid problems and have control of your companion. I highly recommend Luxury Dog Oasis and owner Monia to anyone looking for truly personal, loving care for their dog.
I’ve known Monia since she was a client of Dowling’s Obedience Guidance School, formerly NJ D.O.G.S. Training LLC, where I had the pleasure of working with her and her dog, Finn. Her love and dedication to dogs was clear then, and it certainly shows in the care she provides today.
What makes Luxury Dog Oasis special is that your dog isn't being treated like another number at a large commercial boarding or daycare facility. Monia provides quality, individual attention in a real home and family environment, caring for the dogs staying with her as if they were her own.
Your dog gets to enjoy normal everyday life, personal attention, companionship, walks, playtime, relaxation and plenty of love. It's more like sending your dog on their own mini vacation while you're away enjoying yours.
As a retired professional dog trainer, I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your dog. I would feel confident recommending Monia and Luxury Dog Oasis to families looking for a more personal, home-style alternative to traditional boarding or daycare.
Five stars and best wishes to Monia and Luxury Dog Oasis! 🐾❤️

🚨 WHEN A GOOGLE REVIEW DOESN’T ADD UP… WE’RE GOING TO SPEAK UP. 🚨
Normally, we don't waste our time responding to nonsense. After years of building NJ DOGS Training LLC, we know exactly who we trained, and we stand behind the work we did with our clients and their dogs.
But this one deserves attention.
A Google profile under the name “Abby Parker” recently left NJ DOGS Training a ⭐ ONE-STAR review claiming we were:
“Overpriced”
“Not worth the money or time”
and that she was “disappointed with results.”
There's just one BIG problem:
WE HAVE NO RECORD OF ABBY PARKER EVER BEING A CLIENT OF NJ DOGS TRAINING.
In fact, NJ DOGS had already stopped accepting new clients. Our website was taken down and our enrollment/contract process was no longer available.
So naturally we wondered: Who is this person, and what “results” is she supposedly disappointed with?
Then we looked at the publicly visible review history.
👀 That's when things became even more interesting.
The screenshots attached to this post show the same profile leaving multiple recent ⭐ ONE-STAR reviews for dog-training and pet businesses in our area.
NJ DOGS Training — ⭐
Corrected Canines — ⭐
The Dog Wizard — ⭐
Green Leaf Pet Resort — ⭐
Yet another local dog-training business received ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.
We're NOT going to accuse another business of being involved without evidence, and we're not claiming to know this reviewer's motivation.
But people can look at the screenshots and draw their own conclusions.
We have also spoken with another business affected by this profile, and they have been attempting to address their review with Google as well.
There's a HUGE difference between legitimate criticism and attacking the reputation of a business you've never actually hired.
If you were genuinely our client and were unhappy, we'd listen.
If you actually paid NJ DOGS Training, trained with us and were disappointed, we'd have a conversation.
But when we cannot even identify you as someone who received our services, we're going to defend the reputation we spent YEARS earning.
We are documenting everything and submitting the review and supporting screenshots to Google for investigation.
Small businesses live and die by their reputations. A one-star review isn't just somebody clicking a button. It can affect years of hard work, families, employees and livelihoods.
Disagree with a business? Fine.
Had a bad experience? Tell the truth.
Never used the business? DON'T REVIEW IT.
That's not constructive criticism.
That's just petty.
🐾 NJ DOGS TRAINING LLC
We will ALWAYS stand behind our clients, our dogs, our work and the reputation we earned.

⚓🍻 SUPPORTING GOOD PEOPLE & A JERSEY SHORE TRADITION — BROADWAY BAR & GRILL! 🍻⚓
Kimberly and I are hanging out at Broadway Bar & Grill in Point Pleasant, having some food and drinks and, more importantly, showing our support for our friends Dorothy & Sean Scott as they take over this longtime Jersey Shore establishment! ❤️
Dorothy and Sean actually came into our lives as NJ DOGS Training clients with their Boxer, Moe. 🐾 Over time, like so many of the wonderful people we've met through the dogs, they became more than just clients. As Kimberly and I prepare for our move to Florida, we're going to miss everyone and we truly wish their family, nothing but happiness and success with this next chapter.
And Moe... I hope you're behaving yourself! 😂 I did the training — now Mom and Dad have to keep doing the work! 🐾❤️
Broadway has that old-school Jersey Shore character that you just can't recreate. Located near the Point Pleasant inlet, it's part of the history of the Ocean County Shore restaurant and entertainment scene. The nautical atmosphere, old school Jersey shore pictures on the walls, neighborhood feel and local history give this place a personality all its own. ⚓🌊
And now you've got a local family, born and raised at the Jersey Shore, taking care of the people of Ocean County. That's something Kimberly and I are proud to support.
🍔 Great food
🍺 Cold drinks
🎶 Live entertainment
🏈 Sports on the TVs
🥡 Package goods to go
👨👩👧👦 A comfortable, family-friendly atmosphere
Whether you've spent the day at the beach or boardwalk, you're coming back from the inlet, or you're just looking for some good food, a cold drink and a place with a great vibe — stop into Broadway Bar & Grill and give & Sean some support!
We're here doing exactly that tonight — eating, drinking and putting some money across the bar! 🍻😂 And I'm definitely grabbing some Broadway Bar & Grill gear to bring down to Fort Myers so we can represent a little piece of the Jersey Shore from our new home in Florida. 🌴⚓
Dorothy & Sean, Kimberly and I wish you both the absolute best. We're going to miss you guys, we're proud to support you, and we hope Broadway Bar & Grill brings your family many years of success, memories, friendships and good times. ❤️
Here's to old friends, new beginnings and keeping a piece of the Jersey Shore tradition alive.
⚓🍻 COME DOWN, HAVE SOME FUN & SUPPORT LOCAL! 🍻⚓

The rumors are true... I'm packing up, loading the dog treats, and heading to Florida on September 1st! 🌴🐕☀️

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FROM NJ D. O.G.S. TRAINING LLC
After many years of helping families and their dogs throughout New Jersey, we have made the difficult decision to begin the next chapter of our lives.
Effective immediately, NJ DOGS Training LLC will no longer be accepting new clients.
Our final day providing in person services, including private lessons, in home training, and training center sessions, will be September 1, 2026.
To all of our past and current clients, thank you. It has been an honor to be part of your journey. Watching your dogs grow, helping families build stronger relationships, and seeing your successes over the years has meant more to us than words can express.
Although we are relocating to Florida, our commitment to our existing clients does not end here. We will continue to offer virtual support and guidance for our past clients whenever needed.
This is not goodbye. It is simply the beginning of a new adventure.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your trust, support, referrals, friendships, and for allowing us to be part of your dogs' lives.
You will all be greatly missed.
Who knows... maybe our paths will cross again in Florida one day.
With gratitude,
Daniel & Kimberly & T-Bone Dowling

🐾 FRIENDLY TRAINING REMINDER 🐾
If you have training sessions remaining, now is the time to get them scheduled.
Our Basic Foundation Program is designed to be completed once per week for three consecutive weeks. Each session is approximately two hours long, allowing you and your dog to build skills week after week.
As outlined in your training agreement, training packages expire two months from your first session date.
Waiting too long between sessions can slow progress and make it harder for both you and your dog to stay consistent with the training process.
If you're getting close to your expiration date, we highly recommend locking in your remaining appointments now before your package expires.
Consistency creates results.
Click the scheduling link and reserve your next session today.

👇 Comment below with your favorite skunk prevention tips.
If you walk your dog on a leash, you have a much better chance of avoiding an unwanted encounter with "Pepe Le Pew!"
🦨 HOW TO KEEP SKUNKS AWAY FROM YOUR HOME
1. Remove Food Sources
Keep pet food indoors and secure garbage cans. Wildlife is attracted to easy meals. If possible, store trash containers indoors at night. A solid fence with no gaps can also help.
2. Pick Up Fallen Fruit
Remove fruit, berries, nuts, and crabapples from your yard as soon as they fall. Regular yard cleanup reduces attraction.
3. Eliminate Shelter Areas
Remove brush piles and seal openings under porches, decks, sheds, foundations, barns, and other structures where skunks may seek shelter.
4. Reduce Grub Populations
Treat your lawn if necessary to reduce grubs and insects that skunks feed on.
5. Block Burrows
Skunks often move into dens abandoned by other animals. Inspect your property and close off holes and burrows.
=================================
🏠 HOW TO REMOVE SKUNK ODOR FROM YOUR HOUSE
• Boil vinegar and place small cups of vinegar around the home.
• Place dry coffee grounds on paper plates to absorb odors.
• Use carpet deodorizing powder before vacuuming.
=================================
🦨 DO MOTHBALLS KEEP SKUNKS AWAY?
Skunks dislike strong odors such as:
• Citrus peels
• Ammonia
• Mothballs
• Predator scents
If using mothballs or ammonia-soaked rags, keep them away from children and pets and place them only around the outer perimeter of the property.
=================================
🦨 WHAT KEEPS SKUNKS AWAY?
• Motion-activated lights
• Motion-activated sprinklers
• Citrus peels
• Ammonia-soaked rags
• Reducing food sources
• Sealing entry points around structures
=================================
🚶 WHAT TO DO IF YOU SEE A SKUNK
• Stay calm.
• Do not run toward it.
• Make noise from a distance.
• Give it space and walk away.
• Never try to corner or harm it.
• Skunks usually spray only when they feel threatened.
=================================
⚠️ IS SKUNK SPRAY HARMFUL?
Skunk spray can cause:
• Sneezing
• Drooling
• Nausea
• Vomiting
• Eye irritation
• Temporary blindness
If your dog is sprayed directly in the eyes or mouth, contact your veterinarian immediately.
=================================
🐶 BEST WAY TO REMOVE SKUNK ODOR FROM YOUR DOG
Step 1: Keep your dog outside.
Step 2: Apply baby powder carefully, avoiding the eyes, ears, nose, and mouth. The powder can help absorb some of the oils.
Step 3: Mix the following:
• 1 quart of 3% hydrogen peroxide
• 1/4 cup baking soda
• 1 teaspoon liquid dish soap
Step 4: Wearing gloves, work the mixture thoroughly through the coat. Avoid the eyes.
Step 5: Rinse thoroughly and shampoo your dog.
⚠️ Warning: Hydrogen peroxide may lighten some coat colors if left on too long.
Remember, skunk spray is oil-based. A direct hit can leave a lingering odor for weeks or even months despite your best efforts.
Good luck!

If your dog isn't comfortable using a baby pool, start by making it a fun and positive place before ever adding water.
Try feeding your dog their meals inside the pool so they begin to associate it with good things. You can also practice simple on leash obedience exercises around the pool. Walk your dog in and out of the empty pool, ask for a sit or down inside it, and reward them for being calm and confident.
Remember, the goal is to make it fun.
A great game is to use the pool as an enrichment activity while it's still dry. Place your dog's favorite toys inside along with a few empty plastic water bottles containing a handful of small rocks. Sprinkle your dog's kibble throughout the pool and mix it down underneath the toys and bottles.
As your dog searches for the food, they'll learn to work through new sights, sounds, and textures. This taps into their natural hunting and foraging instincts, helping them build confidence while having fun.
Once your dog is happily jumping in and out of the pool and enjoying the games, you can gradually introduce a small amount of water and continue making the experience positive.
The more fun your dog has with the pool, the more likely they are to enjoy cooling off in it on those hot summer days. 🐾💦
