Finn, couldnt ask for a more special boy. Funny, a character, definitely makes you smile and Finn found his perfect home with Kathleen Greer Sparks . Seeing you both so happy, priceless.
Our happy Tuesday post of Buddy. Remember our recent rescue that constantly did circles. After 3 vets and several turn aways, the 4th vet was the charm.
A little over 2 weeks into treatment and look at him go! He LOVES the water!
We apologize, but we will not be at Pet Supplies Plus this Sunday, June 7th. We plan to return on Sunday, June 14th.
Looking forward to seeing everyone next week.

Do you remember Buddy? He was surrendered to Let's Rescue due to his condition about a month ago. Buddy is only 2.5 yrs old, an 8 lb shih tzu. We couldn't fail this boy like so many others. Plus in our eyes he's just a baby with his whole life ahead of him.
Buddy was to Woodhaven Vet, Union Lake Vet, MedVet Neurologist. All they wanted to do is dope him up on gabapentin and trazadone. He was turned away by several other vet offices, telling us they couldnt help him.
We did more research and found Dr Lindamood at Howell Animal Hospital. She practices both integrative and traditional medicine.
The appointment made, Dr Lindamood was the first Vet that did an extensive physical exam, in addition to labs. She prescribed different treatments along with a change of diet to a homemade recipe. Traditional medicine, Chinese herbs.
Buddy had his 2 week recheck today. The first video is when he first came to us, the circling was constant unless he was sleeping or in your arms. The second video hes a little over a week into treatment. His very first time running across the yard. Jumping up on his wonderdul foster mom Amy Sutter. Amy and her family all take part in helping Buddy, loving him with all their hearts. Amy's husband attended our appointment. Buddy lays his head on his shoulder. It's precious.
It's all baby steps but we're heading in the right direction. He climbed his first step. Something he couldn't do before. He started actually crunching food and eating rather than licking the food up. His prior owner told me Buddy couldn't eat dry food. It would fall out his mouth and it did. Why? We will never know nor the reason he is the way he is. But he loves to lay with you on the couch, snuggle, held like a baby. He loves being outside to sunbathe on the deck or explore the yard.
Buddy still has a long ways to go but we're hopeful.
We just wanted to give you an update on this precious boy.
I need to correct a misconception. Buddy is not healed, he still circles. He has a long road ahead of him BUT as you can see there is progress.
