Children are exploring how facial expressions and body language can communicate different emotions while building confidence in expressing their own! 😊

Our Philanthropy Focus this October is Charity! 💛

With the help of our philanthropic duo, Grace and Charity, children here at The Learning Experience - Eldridge are exploring what it means to be charitable. They'll learn that when we donate items, like clothes or food, we are often supporting a local charity. 🎁

Through this exploration, children discover how we can help our community, one kind act at a time! ✨🏡

Big feelings are part of growing up! 💛😊

This October, our little learners here at The Learning Experience - Eldridge are diving into My Emotions and Feelings, a curriculum theme designed to help children better understand what they’re feeling, express themselves, and build the social-emotional skills they’ll use every day. 🌈💬

With Miss Chievous by their side, children will explore the many emotions they experience and discover simple ways to navigate big feelings. ✨

Learning how to understand our feelings is an important part of learning how to care for ourselves, connect with others, and grow with confidence. 💕 We can't wait to see what this month of exploration and discovery brings! 🌱

In the Infant Room, the children participated in a Shape Mobile Activity designed to support their early cognitive, visual, and physical development. The teachers created a simple mobile using a hanger and colorful shape cutouts.

The children were placed safely on their backs while the teachers slowly moved the mobile from side to side, encouraging the children to visually track the shapes and reach for them. As the children interacted with the mobile, the teachers identified the shapes and colors, helping introduce early concepts such as shape recognition, color awareness, visual tracking, and hand-eye coordination.

This engaging activity provided the infants with an opportunity to explore their surroundings while strengthening their developing motor skills and encouraging curiosity and active participation.

The children in Preschool 1B are loving their reading time! 📚 As they explore picture books, they are excited to share what they see and use their words to describe the pictures. This fun activity encourages them to build their vocabulary, develop language skills, strengthen observation, and express their ideas with confidence. We love seeing their curiosity and enthusiasm as they discover new stories together!

Our Little Musicians enrichment program is in full swing at TLE! 🎵

Behind all the music and fun, children are:
🥁 Exploring new sounds and instruments
🧠 Building cognitive skills by learning about rhythm and keeping a beat
💪 Strengthening fine and gross motor skills through hands-on musical play
💛 Building social-emotional skills through songs and shared musical experiences

The children in Preschool 1A are continuing their exciting monthly Spanish Passport adventure! Each month, our young travelers “visit” a new Spanish-speaking country while learning new Spanish vocabulary, exploring the country’s culture, and adding a special flag sticker to their passports.

This month, the children are traveling to España (Spain)! As part of their journey, they are learning their Spanish words of the month, practicing pronunciation, and discovering fun facts about Spain. After completing their monthly Spanish learning activities, the children proudly add the Spanish flag sticker to their passports to mark their visit.

Through this hands-on passport experience, the children are building their Spanish vocabulary while developing an appreciation for different languages, cultures, and countries around the world. ¡Qué divertido! ✈️🌎

Fall comes with so many exciting opportunities to learn. 🌱 As part of our My Emotions and Feelings curriculum theme, little ones will explore the sights, textures, and sounds of fall through hands-on experiences with seasonal materials, giving them plenty of opportunities to discover, create, and connect their learning to the world around them.

🎶 It’s Music Time in the Infant Room! 🎶
Our little ones are enjoying music time today! Music is a wonderful way for infants to explore sounds, rhythms, and movement while encouraging sensory development and early communication skills. Through singing, listening, and moving along to the music, our babies are having fun while learning and exploring.
We love watching their little faces light up during music time! 💕🎵
