RENT'S DJ Little Martin started DJing in clubs 30 years ago this year, and the wonderful folks over at The Flat are helping him throw a party to celebrate - THE NIGHT BEFORE THANKSGIVING. Very appropriate.
One of his all time favorite DJ's, Cielo NYC resident, Nickodemus (from Turntables On The Hudson) will be flying in to guest at this one. Houston legend, DJ Sun, will help get the blood circulating beforehand.
HE WON'T BE WORKING! AFTER 30 YEARS HE'LL BE TAKING THE NIGHT OFF

RENT PARTY EVENT TIP: JOEY NEGRO (Z Records, UK) @ FOX HOLLOW, Saturday April 28
I think I speak for Jonathan as well as myself in saying that Steve Jobs passing is a very upsetting day for us. Putting aside the technology we use, the Apple "branding", graphics and overall style were a HUGE influence on how we set out to market Rent in the beginning. Apple's overwhelming concern for beauty has been credited to Steve Jobs and was (and probably always will be) a massive inspiration for us. To be "cool" and "mainstream" is pretty much impossible, yet somehow you pulled it off!
RIP Steve Jobs and thank you for relentlessly pursuing perfection.
