It’s back! Come on out to tomorrow at Noon to buy cans and enjoy draft pours of a fresh AF batch of literally the highest-rated beer in 2025 for the entire state of Texas (not just hazies, but every category) per the community. Now that’s somethin’ to YAP about 🗣️🗣️🗣️

Excited to share my updated Top Burgers in Houston rankings, which were previously published last summer! Importantly, I have made the decision to bifurcate the list into two distinctive categories: (1) Classic, or traditional-sized patties; and (2) Smashburgers. For me, the latter increasingly feels like such a distinctive offering from a “regular” burger that I find it challenging to compare my favorites from both categories within one grouping.

Having tried burgers at more than 100 places you can trust these rankings for Houston burger and smashburger spots 🙂

There are beers. And then there are BEERS. I’m sure I’ll say this again about multiple Hopzys drops in 2026—heck, I thought Yappin’ was the pinnacle of hoppy achievement—but I’m calling it now.

’s OOPS! ALL HOPS is my Beer of the Year for 2026, and as of this moment this extravagantly hop-drenched, layered—many of you keep describing the experience of drinking this beer as akin to it delivering WAVES of hops, which is spot-on—absolute beast of a beer is the most well-executed, lusciously-textured, multi-dimensionally flavored, luxuriantly-hopped hazy I’ve ever had the pleasure of imbibing. And all of those stunning characteristics are expertly wrapped up in a majestically sophisticated 9.5% package.

This exquisite liquid is an ode to Chris’ eternal curiosity, tireless pursuit of elite craftsmanship, and a true celebration of exceptionality.

Sheesh. This is getting out of hand. Liquid sorcery at its absolute finest. just continues to unlock an even higher tier of world-class with every hopzy release. Gruntled, indeed 🙌🔥💪🍻

OOPS! ALL HOPS is the highest-rated beer in the country this week, per —a resounding testament to , an elite craftsman and singular talent whose artistry continues to raise the bar for liquid exceptionalism with each release.

From recurring appearances on Top Beer Drops’ weekly lists; to Best New Brewery recognitions by both and ; to winning IPA of the Year at The Droppies; to an excellent feature on ’s Instagram page; to this— is on some kinda heater. And this is only the beginning 🙌💪🔥🍻

🚨 NEW x COLLAB + NEW GLASS RELEASE FRIDAY 🚨 I am forever grateful every time I have the opportunity to join my friends in being part of a collaborative beer. This one has heightened importance—I first met in 2021, right after he introduced 16-oz cans at Whole Foods. On May 23, 2021, I cracked open a can of Wholistic Hazy (DDH Citra + Enigma), and my world was forever changed. I quickly discovered that not only was Chris as into hugely hopped hazies as I was, but that he was also outrageously great at brewing them. Thus began one of the very best friendships of my adulthood, and 11 months later we released our first-ever collab, Haze Of Our Lives, which would lead to an epic run of 9 more beers together over the ensuing 14 months.

OOPS! ALL HOPS is our first collaborative effort since June 2023’s Haze Of Our LIFE. It was conceived as something of a sequel to GOTTA HAVE MY HOPS, which we released in December 2022 and went on to be named one of ’s Top Beers of the Year. GOTTA was hopped to the gills with Citra, Vic Secret, Rakau, and Waimea.

OOPS! is utterly obliterated with Eggers Riwaka, Freestyle Riwaka, Peacherine, and Nectaron, marking two firsts for me: (1) I’ve never not had Citra in a collab I’ve been a part of, and (2) for all the beers Chris and I have done together, he’d never previously used Nectaron. I’m humbled to get to be a part of a beer utilizing the hop he is perhaps best-known for.

OOPS! is a stunner—luxuriously hopped while absolutely overflowing with layers of distinctive hop flavors. At 9.5% it is preposterously drinkable and dangerous. I’m honored for Musical Box to be a small part of this Hoppy Ale, and I hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Join me and Chris at the official release for OOPS! at this Friday, March 13! We look forward to hoisting a glass with you! 🙌🔥🍻

He’s done it again. We thought Yappin’ was the platonic ideal of a hop-drenched ale, and then manages to one-up himself with ’s Via Korea. Nectaron and Peacherine in perfect harmony. This is insanely great, and you should drink it 🙌🙌🙌🔥🔥🔥🍻🍻🍻

has brewed many of the best beers I’ve ever had, not to mention the fact that has been on one heck of a heater, and so I don’t say this lightly: this new batch of Yappin’ that was canned yesterday might just be the best beer he’s ever produced. If you like hop-drenched hazies with Citra and Nectaron (and Nelson is in there too!), you must drink this beer. It’s only January 3 and this bit of loveliness already has a serious claim to Top Beer of 2026. Pure insanity 🍻🙌🔥
