It all started in Moncler. By pioneers, in sleeping bags, with extraordinary dreams.
Insulated sleeping bags were among the first mountain essentials Moncler ever created. These warming cocoons laid the foundations for the puffy outerwear that would accompany pioneering expeditions to the world’s highest peaks.

In the 1950s, pioneering alpinist Lionel Terray saw the potential in Moncler’s insulation pieces, becoming an early collaborator and helping lay the foundations of the brand’s mountaineering legacy.
