The Design by Rula Clint Story
After more than 30 years experience in the fashion industry, as a designer, pattern maker, production manager, and theater costumière, Rula launched Design by Rula Clint in 2013, based in Houston Texas. Since its inception, Rula has designed and created solo Irish dresses, vests, and outfits for dancers all over the world, at every level of competition. Rula applies the technical knowledge of intricate patternmaking acquired from New York’s renowned Fashion Institute of Technology and industry experience. Rula draws upon the elaborate techniques of theater costume design from the Ecole de Formation aux Métiers du Costume in Paris, and her theatrical experience. The result: visually stunning dresses that fit well and feel amazing to dance in.
